Pre-Treatment

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin, or allow time for us to cleanse your face.

  • Hydrate well throughout the day—healthy, hydrated skin responds better to light. 

  • Inform us of any photosensitising medications or active skincare (e.g. retinoids, AHAs/BHAs)

  • Avoid Before Treatment (24–48 Hours Prior): No strong exfoliants, peels, or active acids (like glycolic/salicylic acid, retinol).

  • Avoid sunburn or excessive sun exposure.

  • No recent cosmetic injectables or laser (check with your provider if unsure).

  • Discontinue photosensitising medications or topicals (only with doctor approval).

Post Care

  • Use a gentle cleanser and hydrating skincare to soothe and nourish.

  • Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, especially if combining with other treatments.

  • Keep skin hydrated—drink water and use a hydrating serum or moisturizer.

  • Avoid for 24–48 Hours: No exfoliating or active skincare (retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, vitamin C).

  • Avoid direct sun or heat exposure (e.g. hot yoga, steam rooms, saunas).

  • No makeup for 12–24 hours, especially if combined with extractions or peels.
